BATON OF HOPE

Baton of Hope UK was the UKs largest ever suicide prevention initiative which toured the UK between 25th June and 06th July '23, visiting twelve cities in twelve days. On Tuesday 04th July, it visited Milton Keynes, where Nick was given the incredible opportunity to speak at their conference and be the Baton Bearer, who handed the Baton over to Red Bull Racings F1 driver, Daniel Ricciardo, for it to be escorted through RedBulls' technology campus by their F1 car.

This page pays tribute to a very special day, a very special initiative, and shares the videos and images taken by, Ben Kelly Visuals, who captured every special moment for all those involved and as it also coincided with Nick's 7yr anniversary of surviving a suicide attempt, is a very poignant and symbolic time for him too. Suicide Survivor and Disabled War Veteran, Nick Wilson aka Disabled Adventurer, pulls off an incredible overtake down the back straight, on Red Bulls Daniel Ricciardo, when the Baton of Hope UK visited their Technology Campus in Milton Keynes. The Baton of Hope UK is a suicide prevention initiative which toured the UK from 25th June, visiting 12cities in 12days and featured hand picked Baton Bearers who'd been impacted by suicide in some way.
