A partnership between Nick and local engineering firm, Rock Engineering, has resulted in the development of an original, one of a kind power mobility chair, specifically designed for Nick to attempt a solo ascent of Yr Wyddfa (Mt Snowdon) and become the first person with disabilities to climb the mountain unaided, solely using a powerchair. At least, that was where it started, but has since grown considerably from this as; businesses, adventure tour operators, spinal injury and wounded veterans charities learn about RockClimber, and the team begin planning for more extreme adventures, in various countries around the world.

"Sharing our lived experiences and speaking with authenticity, can change and save lives"

Nick Wilson, Disabled Adventurer

Public Speaker

Nick combines the knowledge and professional experiences of, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neuro-Linguistics Programming, being a Mental Health First Aid trainer and running a men's mental health peer support group, with his own personal lived experiences of; mental illness, physical disability and suicide; to openly and very candidly deliver talks which inform, inspire and empower others, with humour, authenticity and always a message of hope.

The talks below are merely examples of the general areas he has been asked to deliver previously, however, he can adapt his personal and professional lived experiences to speak on a multitude of specific areas connected to; Suicide, Mental Health, Disability and Post Traumatic Growth, ensuring to meet all of your specific requirements.

"Your honesty and openness was hugely inspiring. Your choice of words and your heartfelt delivery was real and raw which kept the attention of such a large audience (almost 300) brilliantly. The session exceeded our expectations and your authentic storytelling pulled us all out from our 9-5 and made us think more broadly about how we feel about our lives, our purpose and our loved ones."
